Bug with MOSS 2007 SP2 – 180 Days Expiration

Recently MS came out with SP2 for MOSS 2007 and WSS 3.0

But there is a BUG with SP2, Once you install SP2 on MOSS 2007, product expiration date is activated and your license is set to expire in 180 days i.e. your license is expired in 180 days!

You can check this by going to:
Central Admin
Operations
Convert License Type
Under Current License type you see Office SharePoint Server Trial with Enterprise (or Standard) Client Access license

Fix:
As of 05/26, MS has not come out with a hotfix
You can fix this issue by reentering your product key and your license is converted from trial to enterprise or standard!
